Personality: Une has a split personality due to something that Treize did.  It is not mentioned what he did, only that an action of his caused her to split in two.
Colonel Une is a ruthless, efficient individual.  She will stop at nothing to complete her assignments fully.  She also does not hesitate to kill if the need arises.
Lady Une is a naive, sweet, confidant, graceful woman.

Colonel Une is distinguished by her double croissant hair style, glasses and slightly deeper, crisper voice.
Lady Une is characterized by her loose, flowing hair and lack of glasses, as well as her light soothing voice.

Eventually, after an accident that leaves Une in a coma for quite some time, she awakens to have both her halves successfully merged.  Thus, creating the final 'Preventer' Une that is now both compassionate and democratic as well as efficient and crisp.  The final result is the woman that Treize Khushrenada truly loved.
